Time runs fast

Billeting number two is almost done here in Matane. Tomorrow, our group is getting back together for the last time. Only 44 more days before the end of Katimavik...

Thinking about life after Katimavik is hard. I worked a lot on that during billeting but I don't have satisfying results yet. I just have too many ideas and I need to make some choices. I'm talking about plans for next summer and also next semester.

I'm also thinking a lot about Castlegar, my first Katimavik town in British Columbia. I miss that town a lot, I miss a lot of people there, I miss my job there ... I miss my life there. I sent a lot of e-mails to people in Castlegar and I really like to have some news from there. Yes, I have to get over it... but my three months there were unforgettable.

So, since I'm thinking a lot about the past in BC and the future (I don't even know where!), I decided to focuss more on the 44 days left with my group here in Matane. I'm very lucky to be with that group and I need to take advantage of the time I have left with them. I'm also lucky to be in the region of La Gaspésie and our group will have the chance to visit it during week-ends in June.

To finish on a high note, we went in Cap-Chat for high ropes in the begining of May. Here's a picture of Tina doing a zipline right across the St. Lawrence River. It was such a nice day!
